The official up-and-comer of the Labor Party (LP), Peter Obi visited the British High Commissioner, Catriona Laing, in her office on Wednesday.
Obi visited Laing in the organization of her running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, in a gathering that probably won’t be detached with the 2023 general decisions.
The previous Anambra lead representative didn’t reveal the plan of the gathering yet tweeted on his confirmed Twitter handle on Thursday morning close by photos of the visit.
Obi said: “Yesterday, with my dear sibling and capable running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed. We met with the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, HE @CatrionaLaing1 and her associates.”
Talking on the visit, Laing said by means of her confirmed Twitter handle, Wednesday, that the gathering zeroed in on Obi’s thoughts on the nation’s economy, security and formative issues as the 2023 general races approach.
Laing tweeted, “Great to meet the Labor Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi @PeterObi today and find out about his thoughts on Nigeria’s monetary, security and improvement needs in front of #2023elections.”
In the interim, Obi posted yesterday that he likewise visited the workplace of the High Commissioner of South Africa to Nigeria.
