The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has consoled Nigerians of its impartiality leading the pack up to the following year’s overall political decision, announcing that it has no favored applicants.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu gave the confirmation Wednesday in Abuja at the fourth Prof. Abubakar Momoh Memorial Lecture.

The talk which had as its subject, “Electing Act 2022: Imperatives for Political Parties and the 2023 General Election” was intended to edify and sharpen ideological groups on the new arrangements in the Act and the subordinate auxiliary laws of the Commission.
