The Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Abubakar, uncovered this while highlighting on the Ministerial Media Briefing coordinated by the Presidential Communications Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Minister said $538 million was endorsed for exceptional agrarian handling zones to help comprehensive and practical horticultural advancement in Nigeria.

As per him, government is carrying out the Value Chain Development Program Additional Financing (VCDP-AF) 2020-2024 to upgrade, on a practical premise, livelihoods and food security of poor country families participated in the creation, handling and showcasing of rice and cassava.
