Official applicant under the foundation of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku has said his significant conflict with the official up-and-comer of the decision All Progressives, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in 2007 was over Muslim ticket.
Atiku depicted the Muslim ticket by the APC as “unpleasant and unripe for Nigeria as a popularity based state.”
He made this statement on Friday during a meeting with Arise TV checked by our reporter.
Atiku said, “I have consistently gone against Muslim ticket. I don’t really accept that this is ready for nations like Nigeria. There ought to be balance.”
In the mean time, the PDP competitor has communicated certainty that he will overcome the APC up-and-comer Tinubu in 2023.
Atiku excused the hint that the rise of Kashim Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate will lessen his possibilities in the North-East in the 2023 official political decision.
