A police Inspector, Monday Orukpe, has supposedly kicked the bucket from wounds he supported after fighters of the Army Ordinance Corps beat him to trance like state in Lagos on Wednesday.

Monday Orukpe, who was stole close by another cop, passed on at the tactical clinic on Thursday evening, August 4.

It was discovered that the warriors, who were riding in an Army transport, ran into a traffic gridlock at CCC Gate on Lagos/Badagry Expressway.

Armed force responds

Responding to the occurrence, Major Olaniyi Osoba, Acting Deputy Director, 81 Division, Public Relations, said the consideration of the 81 Division has been attracted to a story online over the episode.

“This episode is profoundly lamentable given the Division’s attitude and no capacity to bear any offense.
