Ranchers in Akpaa Mbato people group, Obingwa Local Government Area, Abia State, have shouted out over the annihilation of their yields by cows crowded by Fulani herders.

They bemoaned that starvation looms locally assuming nothing was finished to repay them for the immense misfortunes they have brought about from the annihilations.

The Farmers who talked through the Youth President of the Community, Mr. Steve Ugboaja,lamented that the Fulani herders attacked their local area with north of 500 cows and obliterated cassava, vegetables,maize, among different yields which they ranch in enormous breadths of land.

He expressed; “Ranchers in Akpaa Mbato are currently counting their misfortunes over the obliteration of collective homesteads locally. Our kin ordinarily put cash in cultivating crops like cassava,vegetables ,maize, and different harvests in enormous territories of land, yet all have been annihilated by Fulani cows. These ranchers gathered immense aggregates in advances and presently, they are in a difficult situation. Starvation looms locally except if something is finished to turn away the emergency.”

Ugboaja unveiled that he had announced the make a difference to the Abia State panel set up to intervene among ranchers and herders.
